Meet your dentists

Dr. Daniel Baker

Originally from Lawrenceville, Georgia, Dr. Baker studied biology at the University of Georgia before doing his dental training at VCU. After graduating with his dental degree, he completed a residency program at the Birmingham VA Medical Center where he honed his skills in implants, surgery, and root canals.

In 2020, he was hand selected to take over a long established dental practice in downtown Hopewell, which he renamed City Point Dental. Dr. Baker and his team strive to offer the best in dental innovation while honoring the practice's legacy as a trusted partner to residents of the Tri-cities area.

Dr. Baker lives with his wife, Elisha (a Richmond native), their son, Desmond, and their chubby pug, Pippin. While not looking at teeth, Dr. Baker enjoys cooking, camping, and watching college football. (At your next appointment, ask him why THIS is the year Georgia wins another national championship.)
